Chem Chem Lodge sits in a privileged Wildlife Management Area between Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara, known as the Burunge Wildlife Management Area. The Lodge is nestled on the picturesque western side of the concession and consists of eight secluded tented suites and an opulent main house, all in the spirit of a classic safari lodge.
The permanent structure of the Lodge's main house echoes the shape of a flamingo with its wings open to land. One wing hosts the full-service gourmet restaurant and an outdoor fireplace, while the other wing offers a bar, lounge, fireplace and a fully stocked library. The Lodge also features a viewing deck with stunning views of Lake Manyara.
Outside, a pool tucked away among the trees is perfect for cooling off and escaping the afternoon heat, and the Chem Chem Amani Spa gives new meaning to absolute relaxation.
