Ang'ata Camp (tented camp)

The camp ANG'ATA SERENGETI in Seronera, the centre of the Serengeti, is ideal for game drives in all regions of the National Park. Set in a beautiful setting overlooking the plains and valleys and surrounded by wildlife,
A spacious camp with 12 large tents, including a two-tent family unit, a lounge and a dining tent. Each tent has a private bathroom with shower, vanity and flush toilets. A king size bed or twin beds are available on request.

The lounge is the ideal place to meet fellow travellers and share safari anecdotes over a complimentary cup of Tanzanian coffee or tea. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the dining tent, prepared daily by our chefs. The Bush TV (local name for campfire) is lit when the weather permits.

CAMP LOCATION

Located in Seronera, the central region of the Serengeti National Park, the camp allows for easy game drives to most regions of the Serengeti. Within a day's drive, you can reach Moru Kopjes and Maasai Kopjes, with their rock paintings and N'gong Rocks, to the south; the Grummeti River and the Western Corridor; Retima Hippo Pool and even the Lobo area to the north; or explore Turner Springs to the west if you have already explored the Seronera region. Nearby are the Serengeti Visitor Centre, the Research Centre and the headquarters of the Frankfurter Zoological Society. Seronera airstrip is a 15-minute drive away.
